A VICTIM has spoken of his agony after six people were hurt in a mass acid attack- as a boy, 15, is arrested over the spree.
Police and paramedics were seen treating injured victims in Stratford, east London, after the horror close to the Olympic Park at about 8pm on Saturday - with one victim heard shouting "I can't see".
Teenager James Turvey told how he was sprayed with a substance inside a Lucozade bottle as he ran to help a friend.
The 18-year-old, who suffered irritated skin near his eyes, said: “We were in McDonald’s and, as we got outside, my mate was surrounded by about ten guys.
“They circled him and started punching him.
"People ran to help him and the gang put on balaclavas, got out Lucozade bottles and started spraying everyone. It was horrific.
“My mate has been rushed to hospital. I don’t know how he’s doing. I don’t know why they did it. They just picked on us.”

Terrified witnesses at the scene said an argument had broken out among a group of people before several yobs began spraying what is feared to be acid.
One victim is said to be a homeless man who ran for help into a Burger King at the Stratford Centre, another shopping centre nearby.
Dramatic video showed police officers treating another wounded victim inside the Tube station.
Kirsty Austin wrote: "Too scared to leave the station I think if I heard right... the guy on the floor had acid thrown at him.
"WHO. COULD. EVER. ATTACK. SOMEONE. THEY. DON'T. KNOW. I'm actually done with how awful this year has been for innocent people."
She added: "Was at the station a min after and sadly saw and heard him.
"Wishes for him and the friends who were with him."
Burger King assistant manager Hossen, 28, said he saw a victim and his friend, a known local homeless man, run into the fast food outlet's bathroom "to wash acid off his face".
He said: "There were cuts around his eyes and he was trying to chuck water into them."
Inside the Burger King toilets, water could be seen all over the floor, along with toilet tissue and medical gloves.
Outside, people gathered at police cordons while victims were being treated behind a blue screen.
Many of those at the scene, kept inside the cordon by police, were visibly upset by the incident.
One said: "I can't speak now, my mate's been hurt."
A friend of another victim said: “These men got out bottles of acid and chased my pals to the station.
“My friend was hit on the side of the face with acid.”
Cops arrested a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
A police statement read: "Police were called just before 8pm on Saturday, 23 September to the area around Stratford Shopping Centre to reports of a group of males spraying what is believed to be a noxious substance.
"London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade have attended.
"A number of people have been reported injured at different locations - believed to be six people. We await further details.
"One male has been arrested on suspicion of GBH.
"Officers remain on scene. A cordon is in place. Enquiries continue."
Cops confirmed the attack is not believed to be linked to terrorism.
Paul Gibson, assistant director of operations at London Ambulance Service, said: "We have sent a number of resources to the scene including paramedics in cars, ambulance crews, an incident response officer and our Hazardous Area Response Team.
"So far, we have treated at least five patients at the scene and taken three patients to hospital. We remain on scene."
