RYAN Edwards has had a rocky road with his estranged wife Mackenzie, culminating in his arrest and her filing for divorce.

Edwards is known to Teen Mom fans as Maci Bookout's former boyfriend, and following the break up he married Mackenzie Standifer Edwards.

Who is Ryan Edwards' estranged wife, Mackenzie?

On October 27, 2008, Ryan and Maci welcomed their son Bentley Edwards.

Shortly after, they got engaged but ultimately decided to split for good in 2010.

Six years later, he began dating Mackenzie, and they tied the knot in 2017.

Thanks to Ryan's role in the Teen Mom OG franchise, Mackenzie became a recurring face, and MTV fans were able to get an inside look at their marriage.

However, she and her husband were fired from the show in March 2021, along with his parents, Jen and Larry.

When did Mackenzie Edwards file for divorce?

According to The Ashley's Reality Roundup, Mackenzie filed for divorce from Ryan and he was served on February 27, 2023, in Tennessee.

The outlet reported that this came after a months-long attempt by the former Teen Mom star to seek safety from Ryan.

On February 8, 2023, she filed an order of protection against him and made multiple phone calls to 911 over alleged domestic violence.

Ryan was arrested on February 10 in connection with harassment that she had suffered.

On April 20, Ryan Edwards was sentenced to one year in prison at the Hamilton County Court.

He was also charged with violating an order of protection as well as possession of both a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

In addition to receiving custody of their shared children, Mackenzie was granted a restraining order.

Ryan appeared in court on July 14 and was sent to rehab immediately following the appearance.

On October 8, Ryan was found guilty of speeding over 145 mph and reckless driving.

The Teen Mom star previously pleaded guilty to the counts at the Hamilton County General Sessions Court on November 6.

During a court check-in hearing on December 5, 2023, Ryan was arrested while awaiting drug test results after Judge Gary Starnes admitted he had lost his "patience" with the star.

The judge's decision comes after Ryan and his girlfriend, Amanda Conner, were kicked out of a bar for fighting on November 25, 2023.

During a court appearance on Friday, December 8, 2023, Ryan received the results of his drug test. The reality star passed but was still given over a month in jail for not breaking the terms of his probation.
