TWO lottery players have yet to collect their prizes, totaling $100,000 despite a fast approaching deadline to claim the cash.
In Maryland, two people hit it big on the Powerball winning $50,000 each.
They won on Monday night's drawing, where the numbers drawn were 1, 24, 27, 31, and 62.
The Power Ball was 20 and the Power Play was x3.
The first ticket was sold on December 9 at a 7-Eleven in Edgewater.
The second was sold at Berry Country Market in Waldorf on December 4.

Draw game winners have 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
In the state, players must go to the lottery office in Baltimore to get their cash. Claims are by appointment only as well.
Winners must bring an acceptable form of valid photo ID - which could be a driver's license, military ID, government issued ID, or passport.
They will also need proof of a Social Security number or Tax ID, either from a signed Social Security card, a W-2 or pay stub, a health insurance card, or a 1099 form.

The lottery organization asks that players allow at least 30 business days for processing any winning tickets with a value of more than $25,000.
LONG GONE
It can be hard to imagine winning the lottery and not immediately claiming your prize, but it's an extremely common occurrence.
A Florida lottery player just forfeited $44 million after they failed to claim the cash by the deadline.
The winning ticket was sold at a Sunoco Express on North Orange Blossom Trail in Kissimmee back in June, which is near Orlando.
The numbers for the draw were: 9, 13, 15, 46, 51, and 52.
The state's lottery allows only 180 days for winners to come forward, which gave this player until December 11.
The owner of the gas station that sold the winning ticket, Navjeet Khela, told WESH: "We would like all of our customers to check their tickets.
"This is truly a substantial amount of money."
Unfortunately, no one ever came forward to claim the cash.
Since the Florida Lottery was launched in 1988, just 30 jackpots have gone unclaimed.
