General Hospital’s Josslyn fears Dex is dead as she reveals contents of letter he wrote before seemingly leaving town

GENERAL Hospital has revealed what Dex wrote to his girlfriend Josslyn in his goodbye letter.

He left her the note on Friday after leaving town, but she didn’t share what it said until Monday’s new episode.

Josslyn (Eden McCoy) broke down in tears at the end of General Hospital last week when she learned mobster Sonny (Maurice Benard) convinced Dex (Evan Hofer) to leave town after betraying him.

She said she’d never forgive Sonny, and now Joss has revealed she’s worried she has even more to be angry with her stepdad about.

Joss admitted to her mom Carly (Laura Wright) she’s not sure if Sonny actually let Dex go at all.

After Carly ran to find her daughter, she found her heartbroken and scared.

Joss updated her mom on the situation and revealed Dex had left town, according to Sonny, and left her a note.

She revealed the note explained that “he left because it was safer for everybody and that he loved me and he was grateful for the time that we had together.”

Joss then added that perhaps he didn’t leave at all but in fact had been tricked by Sonny into writing the letter and then was killed by the mobster.

“Sweet Jesus... could Dex really be gone for good,” one fan wondered on X.

“I feel bad for Joss how much she’s hurting she needs Dex her future husband back,” a second upset viewer wrote.

“Is Dex gone for good,” a third asked on X.

After days of fans wondering whether or not Sonny would kill Dex for seemingly betraying him, Friday’s episode of General Hospital ended with the mobster demanding Dex leave town.

“Where is he, what did you do to him,” Joss begged to know after finally finding Sonny but not seeing Dex with him.

“Dex is alive, but he’s not coming back to Port Charles,” Sonny told her.

She accused him of lying and insisted Dex would never leave her.

“Dex did what he had to do,” Sonny said. “What was best for everyone.”

Joss broke down in tears and cried out, “Not for me.”

“I hate you,” Josslyn, crying harder, told her stepdad. “You're a criminal and a liar and I will never forgive you for this.”

Now, Joss admitted she's not sure if Sonny let him go or actually killed him, and fans are unsure, as well.

“I'm legit so hateful to Sonny right now,” one viewer tweeted. “I will NEVER believe that Dex left PC like that.”

“He legit just told [Sonny] he'd rather die without her," the online user added.
