AT just 18 years old, Connor Bedard has been dominating the ice hockey rink with the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks.

Supporting him throughout his life are his parents — here's everything we know about his dad, Tom.

Who is Connor Bedard's dad, Tom?

Tom Bedard is a former logger from Vancouver, Canada, who has worked in the forest industry for most of his life.

Tom is the great-nephew of former NHL player Jim Bedard.

Though Tom's family is heavily influenced by ice hockey, the Canadian native never pursued the sport professionally.

While not much is known about Tom, he has been very supportive of Connor's career.

According to Sportslulu, Tom would drive Connor to practice after long hours at work.

What did Tom say about his son?

At the start of Connor's season, Tom has been nothing but supportive of his son.

Speaking with NBC Sports Chicago, Tom said: "It's hard to believe. It's amazing. There was a bit of that in Regina, but not quite to this level.

"He seems to be pretty good. He'd like to be contributing a little more offensively.

"He's had a few looks. He's been a little unlucky. Hopefully, that works itself out. But so far he's been fine. He's more about what he's doing himself not what other people are saying because he can't control that. He can control, hopefully, himself on the ice."

Who is Connor Bedard's mom, Melanie?

Like Connor's dad, his mom Melanie has been by his side along the way.

As Connor continues to dominate the hockey field, Melanie only cares for her son's happiness.

"I honestly just don't look at it that way, maybe because he's my son and we just want him to enjoy what he's doing," she explained during an interview with NHL.com.

In doing so, Melanie left her family in order to tour and support Connor throughout his games.
