NORDSTROM customers hoping to get a headstart on holiday shopping will have to wait an extra day.
The luxury retailer announced that both Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack locations will be closed on Thanksgiving.
Stores will open bright and early on Black Friday where shoppers will find tons of new items as the company expands its beauty assortment.
Shelves will be stocked with new and exclusive stocking stuffers and a festive selection of gifts for the whole family.
Customers can take advantage of special services, including same-day and next-day order pick-up, gift wrapping, and personalization for clothing, blankets, and more.
"Our team is looking forward to connecting with customers, however they choose to shop – in stores or online. We know they will feel inspired by the products we've curated, the events we've created, and our best-in-class service offering to make people feel good and look their best," said Fanya Chandler, President of Nordstrom Stores.

There are already some early Black Friday deals available online.
Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack are offering discounts on everything from clothing options for women, men, and children, to homeware and tech products.
Some top brands that are going on sale include Nike, Kiehl’s, The North Face, and Ugg.
