Brother says company isn’t related to disappearance
Richard Forsyth, the brother of Dr. John Forsyth, told KOLR that his brother’s disappearance didn’t have anything to do with the cryptocurrency company that the two brothers started.
Richard said that there was one person overseas who had an issue with John, but the brother told the outlet that he was confident that the incident isn’t relevant to the investigation.
“He expressed some extreme emotions towards us that he would get revenge,” Richard said.
“And ultimately his campaign failed, and we didn’t hear from him again.
“I don’t see that being enough motivation for someone to cross the Atlantic and cause trouble.”
Body found ‘in a lake’
Richard Forsyth, the brother of Dr. John Forsyth, told the Daily Beast that police told him that the doctor had been found in a lake in Benton County, Arkansas.
Richard says Captain James Smith of the Cassville Police Department said the body will be officially identified following an autopsy.
“My brother is dead. He’s been found,” Richard told the outlet.
Doctor found dead, brother says
Dr. John Forsyth’s brother Richard told the Associated Press that the 49-year-old doctor’s body has been found in Northwest Arkansas.
Richard reported that police called the family Tuesday night to say his brother has been found dead.
Police have not confirmed the death. No other details have been provided.
Hospital called police
A spokesperson for Mercy Hospital in Cassville, Missouri, told The New York Post that staff alerted the authorities when Dr. John Forsyth, who had been employed at the hospital for almost 15 years, didn’t show up for his shift on May 21.
“Dr. Forsyth has never missed a shift without notifying us in the past, so when he failed to arrive for his scheduled shift, and we were unable to reach him, we became concerned and alerted authorities,” the hospital told the outlet.
“We invite everyone to join us in praying for his safe return.”
John’s brother Richard told the Associated Press that police informed the family Tuesday night that the 49-year-old doctor’s body was found in Northwest Arkansas.
Forsyth sent chilling text to fiancée
At around 7am on May 21, Dr. John Forsyth, 49, texted his partner to inform her that his shift at Mercy Hospital in Cassville, Missouri, was over.
“I’ll see you a little bit later,’” the doctor wrote, his brother Richard told the Daily Beast.
The doctor’s partner has not yet been named.
