ALBERTSONS has confirmed that store hours will be changing significantly for one day this month.
Shoppers may need to make alternative plans and many rival grocery stores will be closed.
Albertsons will be changing the opening hours of its 2,200 nationwide stores for Thanksgiving.
The holiday, which falls on November 23 this year, will see stores open for a shorter day than usual.
The U.S. Sun called several Albertsons stores and learned that most stores will be open from 6am until 3pm.
However, store hours may vary, so it’s best to call your local store in advance to check.

Albertsons is one of the few major grocery chains that will be open on Thanksgiving Day.
The holiday will see many grocery stores close to give their employees the day off.
But there are some exceptions to the rule.
Kroger is the largest grocery chain that will be keeping stores open nationwide.

Its 2,750 stores, including local banners like Ralph’s, Harris Teeter, and Mariano’s will be operating with reduced hours.
Most stores all be open from 6am to 3pm.
But this may vary from location to location, and it is worth calling your local store to check beforehand.
The same goes for Whole Foods, which will be keeping its health-orientated supermarkets open with reduced hours.
If you do need to make a last-minute grocery trip on Thanksgiving, your options will be severely limited.
CLOSED DOORS
Walmart has confirmed all stores will be closed for the day, continuing a tradition that began in 2020.
Trader Joe’s has also revealed all of its 560 stores will be shut.
And grocery stores aren’t the only retailers that will be closing for the holiday.
