The incident of 28 girls being hospitalized in Colombia after fainting while reportedly playing with a Ouija board at school has caused quite a stir. Hugo Torres, the head of the Galeras Educational Institution where the event took place, confirmed that there were 28 potential cases of anxiety among the students.

The girls displayed signs of fainting, anxiety, and other symptoms that led to their admission to a municipal hospital, accompanied by their parents and school faculty. Although the specifics of their diagnoses have not yet been disclosed, many parents attribute the situation to the use of Ouija boards in school, a device known for its association with the spirit world and communication with the deceased.

Despite this, Hugo Torres has accused the community of exacerbating the situation with unfounded rumors and has urged everyone to await reliable information from medical diagnoses. Interestingly, this is not the first such incident in Colombia, as a few months ago another group of teenagers had collapsed following Ouija board use, with five of them being taken to the hospital.

Clearly, these events have raised concerns about the potential risks associated with using Ouija boards, prompting calls for further investigation and caution from both parents and educational institutions.
